Shambhala Day, or Losar (New Year) in the Tibetan culture, celebrates the ascent of the sun in the sky as winter recedes and spring approaches. Having purified and pacified any residual negativity of the previous year during the concluding period known as “döns season,” with Shambhala Day we welcome in the new opportunities of a new beginning. It is one of the most important observances within the tradition of Shambhala Buddhism. Please Join us as we welcome in the new year on February 13, 2021.

Our celebration will start at 5:30 pm and go till 7:00 pm. This is a social occasion during which we celebrate the culture of basic goodness and welcome new members. If you wish, please bring an offering of poetry, music, song, or dance.
