| Welcome Welcome to Pioneer Valley Shambhala Meditation Center. We are happy to announce that we will be opening the doors at our brand new location at 191 Main Street, Northampton, Massachusetts (above the Mountain Goat) within a couple of months. We will be in twice the space of our last home, and will be offering regular public meditation sessions and Shambhala Training, along with classes in Buddhism and Dharma Art.
The Shambhala Meditation Center is part of an international community of urban meditation and rural retreat centers founded by Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, and directed by his son and spiritual heir, Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. Our center offers public meditation, a core curriculum of Buddhist and Shambhala teachings, as well as training in advanced contemplative practices. We invite you to explore our diverse programs designed to help people of all traditions discover their inherent sanity, gentleness and humor.

Open House Schedule: 10:00 Open House begins with meditation instruction and practice (sitting & walking meditation) followed by a Dharma talk at 11:00 and refreshments and socializing at noon. Join us for all or part of the morning.

Our new temporary home is at the North Star Education Center, 135 Russell Street (Rte.9) in Hadley - just east on Rte. 9 from our previous location.
