We offer meditation and contemplative practices, classes, and community gatherings. Public Programs
These program are offering free of cost, with a donaltion requested. Pioneer Valley Shambhala Center is supported by members dues, program fees, and donations. Please contribute according to your ability!
Meditation (sitting and walking meditation)
TUESDAYS: 5:30pm - 6:30pm
THURSDAYS: 5:30pm - 6:30pm
SUNDAY NYINTHUN: 9AM - 12PM (except first Sunday)
Nyinthun begins with traditional group chants, followed by alternating sitting and walking meditation periods, and a brief reading. Although best experienced in its entirety, participants are free to arrive and depart at any time.
FIRST SUNDAY: DHARMA GATHERING/OPEN HOUSE

Learn To Meditate MONDAYS, 6pm - 7pm
Monday evenings will begin with introductory sitting and walking meditation instruction, no closing chants.
The Heart of Recovery
FIRST AND THIRD MONDAYS, 7:30pm - 8:30pm
Open to Buddhists, Twelve-Step practitioners, and/or those struggling with addiction. Meetings include meditation practice; brief comments or a reading by the night's facilitator; discussion; sharing of personal experiences, strength, and hope; and dedication of merit. Meetings are anonymous and confidential.
Queer Dharma
SECOND AND FOURTH MONDAYS, 7:00 - 8:30pm
Gather with the LGBTQ community and Allies for Shambhala meditation instruction, Dharma talk/readings, and social time.
Sit and Talk Night
WEDNESDAYS, 7:00pm - 8:15pm
Sit & Talk Night features twenty minutes of sitting meditation, followed by a short reading by a Shambhala teacher and a brief discussion. Light refreshments are offered afterward. Meditation Instruction is available.
Friday Night Films
7:30 PM

Upcoming Programs: Dharma Gathering/Open House
