During the Sacred Path training weekends, the Four Dignities are introduced as a path and a process, which describe a warrior's maturing and widening sphere of benevolent engagement in the world. The training in the dignities allows one to maintain awareness and delight at each stage. Meek is a study of the grounded, humble and gentle beginning stages of a warrior's journey. Here one trains to overcome arrogance—the primary obstacle to learning.

Generosity Policy: Our intent is to share the teachings with all who are interested in participating, regardless of financial circumstances. If the Sustaining Fee is an obstacle for you, please see our generosity page.

This weekend retreat, like the other Shambhala Training retreats includes meditation instruction, meditation practice, one-on-one meetings to clarify questions, talks by senior teachers, and group discussion. The program concludes with a celebratory reception.

Attendance is required for the Friday night talk and for each session of the program.

Prerequisite: Drala.  Please click here for a full description and chart of the Way of Shambhala.

If you have special circumstances, please email [email protected] in advance to discuss.
