All adults and children are warmly invited to our Winter Solstice and Children’s Day celebration.

We will celebrate the Winter Solstice and Children’s Day on Sunday, December 17 from 4 to 7 pm. The Winter Solstice is an occasion for all of us to celebrate our lineage and our place in Shambhala, with the warmth and cheer of light, friendship and food. Children’s Day is an opportunity to express appreciation for, and with, our children and all the children of the sangha.

We will celebrate with a talent show. All adults and children are invited to offer a song, poem, story, or talent. Please contact Greg at [email protected] if you want to make a talent offering. Spontaneous offerings during the celebration are also welcome!

    Our schedule:

4 pm - Participants gather in the shrine room. The Shambhala King and Queen enter, followed by the children.
Talents are offered after a few words from the King and Queen.

5 pm – dinner and celebration. Please bring a dish to share. You may let us know what you are bringing at

We hope you can join us!
