Shambhala Day 2015 Spontaneous Group Poem

Snow and cold surrounding warmth of home and heart

Holy breath

Snowflakes dance like snow lions

Fires flicker in our rooms and in our hearts

Radiating the warmth of Basic Goodness of all on this Earth

Wood Sheep heralds in the New Year on the mountain top

The floor is hard and shiny

I hope I don’t slip

Be as nimble as a goat

And as sharp as a tack

With soft and fuzzy fur

The teacher’s smile is brilliant

The invitation is to love

May we weave a woolly scarf for all our blames

Those little lambs that run about

And remember that this is the Year of the Feminine and Peace

There is no other Now
